SJE Rhombus Oil Spotter Single Phase Control and Alarm System for water/oil environments

The Oil Spotter system is designed to control a 120V single phase pump using a receptacle for easy pump connections in indoor simplex pump applications. This system provides pump control and alarm notification of potentially threatening water and oil levels in simplex pumping applications. The system features an innovative, factory-installed Oil Water switch that senses the difference between oil and water to remove water from the tank, while preventing oil from entering the environment. The Oil Water switch features four probes (start level, stop level, high water level, reference for ground) and a mechanical high oil alarm float.

In normal operation the pump will turn on and off with the water level activating the probes (5" pumping range). If water gets high enough to activate the High Water probe, a red indicator will illuminate and activate auxiliary contacts. If the oil level reaches the High Oil float, a red indicator will illuminate and activate the auxiliary contacts.
