Return Policy

  • New merchandise may be returned for refund with your original packing slip/order invoice within 30 days subject to the conditions listed below.

  • The product must be complete with no damage or wear from running or installing; and in the original carton with all equipment, packaging, warranties, manuals, and accessories.

  • If you ordered an item in error, up to a 25% restocking fee will be assessed on standard stock items.  Non stocked items will be charged a restocking fee based on the manufacturers assigned value.  Custom or build to order items are non-returnable.  Variable Frequency Drives or Controls may also have a testing fee in addition to the restocking fee.  This restocking fee is necessary to keep our prices competitive.

  • Labor, installation costs and any shipping charges are non-refundable. 

  • All returns must be shipped back to the manufacturer by the customer.  It is the customer's responsibility to pay for shipping costs back to the manufacturer.

  • KG Power Systems is not responsible for expenses, fees or other costs incurred by our customers as a result of defective or incompatible products.  

  • Due to the nature of our products, any electrical components that have been supplied with power and were ordered in error are non-returnable. 

  • KG Power Systems inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, misused, or non-resalable items.   

  • Once the return has been received by the manufacturer, it may take 1-2 weeks before the credit can be issued back to the customer. 
  • KG Power Systems is NOT responsible for any damage to products during delivery (including lost or stolen items).  If this occurs, the customer must contact the freight company to file a claim. 


Warranty Policy

  • KG Power Systems has the right to decline any return or exchange of defective products under warranty if it does not fall under the manufacture's acceptable warranty policies. 

  • Full refund will be awarded once the manufacturer accepts the warranty.

** All exchanges will be processed after our Return Department clears the exchange.    

 Return Instructions


  1. Receive a Return Authorization Number: Please contact us by phone or email with a detailed description of why you are returning the item and KG Power Systems’ Return Department will assign you a Return Authorization Number.

  2. Securely package the item with your Return Authorization Number clearly written on a copy of the original Order Invoice.

  3. Follow all instructions sent by the returns department regarding where to ship your return.
